About Us

ABC has capabilities of providing technical expertise in community mobilization, advocacy campaigns, designing behavioral change communication and institutional capacity building of integrated SRH and HIV outreach services.
ABC’s sound Financial and Administrative systems which is audited regularly to make it capable to handle funding from multiple donors of both national and international nature. The funding donor partners include the USAID, PEPFAR, CSF, HIA, CHAP, Plan Uganda, PACF, and MoH whose financial support has been successful managed by ABC.

Support from HIPS/USAID, UHMG, HIA and Plan Uganda ABC for the last 5 years has made it possible for us to scale up orphans and other vulnerable children care and support services targeting OVC under 18 years and youths out of school affected by HIV/AIDS and our additional areas of intervention now includes supportive provision of school fees and scholastic materials, micro economic psychosocial support, child protection, nutrition and food security support as the numbers in-need keep growing due to domestic violence, poverty and internal civil wars (land-related) effects manifesting in the communities.

Organisation structure
For smooth efficient and effective program running, ABC organisation structure comprises of: Board of Directors, Headquarter Executive management team and Field coordination management team.

Management structure
ABC Executive management team is headed by an Executive Director under whose direction the organisation is getting international recognition. The Executive Director is assisted by Director of program and Finance and Administration manager. Other members of the management committee comprise of heads of department namely; Director of medical services, Director of micro-enterprises, Director of Education & Psychosocial Support, Program Monitoring Audits & Evaluation, Advocacy & IEC/BCC specialist, Capacity building manager and Field coordination officers.

Financial Management
ABC has a sound finance and administration system to manage funds in line with donor requirements. We possess administrative and financial policies including tally accounting software system, procurement policy, and human resource policy. We comply with Uganda laws and pay taxes using TIN 01142649806. Our accounts are audited by certified auditor.
In addition the organization is well equipped with motor vehicle, motor cycles, computer hardware & tallied software, and machinery to support day to day operations.

Offices and Facilities
ABC has a professional permanent working environment at its Liaison office in Kampala, and regional / district coordination offices.
The regional coordination offices are equipped with classic and contemporary communication systems, computers, printer, photocopier, motorcycle, public address system, national and district government ministry policies and plans.
