Team leader Ni Yetu project.

post & duties:

Post: Team leader 01 Duties  Coordinate and monitor Ni Yetu programme implementation to ensure attainment of planned results  prepare detailed implementation plan (DIP) based on approved grant proposal, project results framework, and budget;  Ensure that all project operations related reports are accurate and submitted in the proper format.  Perform any other program task assigned by line supervisor

Qualifications:

• University degree in Social Work, Community Development, Policy and Program Development Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences or related field. Advance degree is an advantage. • Has at least two (2) years’ work experience in managing donor funds, SRH, advocacy, GBV, emergency response and/or innovation programming demonstrating the ability to manage budgets and projects. .

Positions are 01:Field Officer Advocacy:

 Coordinate and monitor Ni Yetu programme implementation to ensure attainment of planned results  Provide technical support to improve the performance of the staff in Ni yetu programme and resource mobilization  Assist the executive director to initiate and coordinate Ni yetu activities to project and ABC image ,  prepare detailed implementation plan (DIP) based on approved grant proposal, project results framework, and budget;  Ensure that all project operations related reports are accurate and submitted in the proper format.  Perform any other program task assigned by line supervisor

Account Assistant Ni Yetu project

Back  Ground:

ABC in partnership with Plan International Uganda together with her partners are a 3 and half year participatory youth-led social empowerment programme, code-named ‘Ni-Yetu’ Youth Programme now in its year 2 of its implementation which seeks to empower young people 13-24 years old with correct knowledge, attitude and skills for reducing GBV and improving their SRH outcomes in order to achieve the program goal of contributing to a healthy youth population, free from violence and empowered in an inclusive civil society that promotes state accountability, promotion of Youth Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and prevention of GBV among young people in the 17 sub counties of Kwapa, Osukuru, Mella, Petta, Rubong, Kisoko, Mukuju, Molo, Merikit, Magola, Iyolwa, Nabuyoga, Mulanda, Nagongera, Sosop, Paya, Kirewa in Tororo district. Vision: A community where the livelihoods of disadvantaged children, youth, and widows affected or infected with HIV/AIDS, domestic violence and poverty is positively transformed Mission: To holistically transform the lives of vulnerable women, girls and children affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty, disability and civil war to meet their needs and live a protective life This position will be based in Tororo; Full time .

Post & Duties :

Post: Account Assistant 01   Duties • Accounting, filing and reconciliations • Prepare monthly payroll and ensure statutory deductions (PAYE & NSSF) are made and submitted to the authorities on time • Should assist with the preparation of annual project budgets including monitoring and providing a narrative report on variances. • Should ensure end of quarter financial reports are prepared before the agreed deadline and submitted to the Finance Manager for review and subsequently to the donor

Qualifications:

• A good Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance • Holder of ACCA or CPA certificate or equivalent preferred, or at least advanced stage in progressing towards it. • A minimum of Four (4) years of relevant work experience especially in an NGO Setting • Experience in NGO accounts/financial management. • Ability to use Excel spreadsheets and other MS Office Programs a must • Experience of using Quick books accounting system is an added advantage.
